O.k. so maybe..we here at South Boston Cab are not always so cheerful about it but our Verifone based system is the most reliable system in use in the city of Boston today. At least once a month I will be flagged down by another driver who wants me to take his customer because his inferior CMT credit card processing system went off line for system updates or just broke down all together.  This is of course just my personal opinion that their system is inferior but trust me when I say it is an educated opinion.

Does Southie Boston Cab just serve South Boston?

There was a time when I first began Southiecab.com that I would refuse to take work outside of South Boston.  Since that time Southie Boston Cab has expanded immensely and we often have Boston Cabs available in every neighborhood of Boston as well as every city that touches the city of Boston. However I still think the good people of South Boston deserve their own phone number to call. So please we ask that you keep the Southie line open for people in South Boston who need a Boston Cab. Does Southie Boston Cab use the same rates as the rest of the Boston Cabs?

All Boston taxis licensed by the Boston police hackney carriage unit must charge the same rates.  We caution you to make sure whenever you enter a cab in  Boston to look on the rear fender and make sure it says Boston Lic. Taxi. Several Cab companies from outside the city of Boston have begun painting their cars in a similar fashion to Boston cab companies  in order to trick customers into paying their higher metered rates.
